❇️ This 5+ months volunteering project in Craiova, Romania, offers a unique opportunity for young enthusiasts to embark on an incredible journey of self-discovery. Go BEYOUND Horizons, Guiding Environmental Optimism, Building Youth Opportunities, Non-formal Education, and Driving Development, is not just a volunteering project – it's a movement that propels young individuals toward a future brimming with environmental altruism, rich opportunities, collaborative networking, and sustainable development. Our initiative encourages participants to venture beyond their comfort zones and explore the vast realm of possibilities for personal growth, environmental stewardship, and community impact. By facilitating a journey that combines environmental education, experiential opportunities, networking connections, and holistic development, we strive to foster a community of individuals who are actively shaping a brighter, better tomorrow.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
⏳ You'll receive monthly food allowance and pocket money (according to ESC funding rules) to cater your own meals and occasionally, we'll cater food together during or after activities. ❇️ For activities beyond walking distance, worry not! We cover public transport expenses or provide transportation means. ❇️ Accommodation? Share a fully equipped apartment with fellow volunteers, featuring a kitchen and 1 or 2 bathrooms. The apartment is centrally located or close to a public transport stop. Join us for a rewarding and comfortable volunteering experience! ❇️
Training during the activity
Experienced coordinators will guide you in designing activities, ensuring a meaningful and engaging volunteering experience. ❇️ Help steward for the environment while engaging in nature conservation, river cleaning and events that that social, physical, mental well-being ❇️ Collaborate with international and local volunteers from our and other organizations. ❇️ Encounter diverse backgrounds, make international friends as we go out together. ⛰️ Embrace the outdoors, enjoy rural or mountain trips when the weather permits it. Participant profile
The selected volunteer will assist with daily activities, support the program, and organize events and workshops based on their interests and involving other project youth. Skills in music, gardening, sports, manual activities, handcrafts, dance, art, and multimedia are advantageous. Desired qualities include self-initiative, motivation, patience, flexibility, open-mindedness, environmentalism, creativity, good communication, interest in working with youth, and English proficiency. ❇️
