Helping at a permaculture farm with ecological (re) construction

Description
On our small scale permaculture farm you will help to take down and replace a sustainable straw-bale building in the coming months. Under the guidance of a professional builder you will help to take down all elements step by step, conserving the best you can and rebuild hem partially at an other part of the property. It will be a lot of handwork and will learn you new skills of strawbale building and restoring nature.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
You will be accomodated in our Tiny House until the end of november. After that you can stay in a room in the farmhouse. Your food comes most of it from the fruits and nuts of our own land . We can pick you up at the railwaystation of Winterswijk which is 6 km form our farm.
Training during the activity
During your stay you will be involved in the weekly online learning sessions about permaculture designing. On the spot you will be trained in the principles ecological construction and reusing of materials.
Participant profile
We appreciate if you are handy with building tools like (electric) screwers and have some experience in DIY. If you are eager to learn and can handle and appreciate instructions of others, we will welcome you! A drivers license is requested.
