Description

CLAE is an associative platform championing equal citizenship for all residents in Luxembourg. CLAE is deeply committed to bridging intercultural, intergenerational & social divides, as well as preventing racism and discrimination. The organization firmly believes in the power of creativity, arts & culture as catalysts for social change & community cohesion. Volunteer Key Activities: Contribute to the development of CLAE's online editorial strategy in French and English for websites/social medias. Produce innovative and dynamic formats (photos, podcasts...) & videos (interviews, webdocs, reels...). Collaborate with internal teams to provide logistical support for CLAE's recurring intercultural events.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

In collaboration with the SNJ, shared housing will be provided throughout the period. The accommodation site is accessible via Luxembourg's free public transportation. CLAE will provide the necessary information to facilitate the volunteer's mobility. Monthly personal allowances, following European Volunteer Service criteria, will be provided. Meal allowances will be determined in agreement with CLAE's management.

Training during the activity

We work closely with each volunteer to develop an individual learning plan that aligns with their personal goals, interests and our objectives. The learning plan outlines the skills and competences they aim to acquire or enhance during their time with CLAE. Our mentors work closely with volunteers, conducting regular check-ins, discussing progress, identifying areas for improvement, providing resources and advice. Audiovisual and computer equipment will be provided for the successful completion of various tasks.

Participant profile

Strong alignment with the values and philosophy of CLAE asbl. High sensitivity to issues related to migrations and combating discrimination. Desire to participate in intercultural projects. Strong affinity for content creation, storytelling, social media, photography, cinema, graphic design, and writing. Knowledge of Adobe CS or any other design software, like wordpress, etc. Fluency in French and English.
