Description
MAGINA/ Alcobendas youth, childhood and adolescence institution promotes and organizes training, leisure and information activities for children and teenagers aged from 4 to 17 and for young people aged from 18 to 35 all municipality. As part of our policy of giving access to international programs in Europe, we have been sending and hosting volunteers for the last 25 years. We are looking for volunteers with good communication skills, flexible, creative, motivated, optimistic and with a good team work capacity. We will host 2 european volunteers for a period of 5 months from March 2024 until July 2024 and they will carry out their tasks in the major projects and activities of the center: educational and leisure projects with teenagers and childhood, European Programs and Youth information office, Youth associations and collaborating with other services linked to our center as the refugees center or Women`s house. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
One of the main characteristics of our project is the great immersion of the volunteers in the community. That is why each one will live in their own room in a house with a different family from the city, who will support them in everything they need to live a complete experience, something that will greatly benefit the cultural and language exchange. Volunteers will receive their monthly allowance: food, transportation and pocket money
Training during the activity
The volunteers will participate in the 'on-arrival' and 'mid-term' trainings organised by the Spanish National Agency and the different trainnings provided by the Youth Center due to carry out all the tasks efficiently. *We will not evaluate any application, CV or Motivation Letter outside of the normal application procedure*
