Join our transformative volunteer project, focusing on inspiring youth through creative engagement. Our mission is to build a vibrant community by organizing activities and promoting Erasmus+ and ESC programs. Tasks include planning activities, promoting programs, and assisting coordinators. Volunteers can lead their projects, gaining multimedia skills for social media. Daily routines involve collaborative planning in the Youth Center and community engagement. Benefits include practical project management experience, leadership development, and cultural immersion. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteers will be accommodated at Pousada de Juventude de Viseu, owned by the organization (www.adamastor.org.pt/hiviseu) in shared rooms (shared only with other volunteers). The hostel has a full equipped kitchen where the volunteers can prepare their own meals, with the exception of the breakfast that is provided every morning from 07.30am to 10.00am. Food and pocket money is 10€ per day. The travel will be reimbursed until the limited covered by ESC with the delivery of tickets, boarding pass, etc. Please request the infopack of the project to get to know more esc@adamastor.org.pt

Training during the activity

The volunteers will be trained on: Non-formal education; ESC and Erasmus+ programmes; Cultural diversity, intercultural learning, living in a intercultural environment, healthy lifestyles, sports as a tool for social inclusion and wellbeing; Portuguese language and culture; Youthpass; Through several workshops and sessions, along the whole project, the volunteer acquire skills and abilities as team work, effective communication and time management. National Agency provides on-arrival and mid-term trainings (online or presencial) only for long term activities.

Participant profile

Join us if you're: Enthusiastic about youth empowerment. Creative, initiative-driven, and open to organizing activities. Interested in multimedia content creation. Culturally curious and adaptable to an intercultural environment. Basic English required; Portuguese is a plus. Committed, punctual, and responsible. Eager to learn through provided trainings. Contribute to community impact and youth development with your unique skills and passion!
