Activity description
Volunteer activities will be carried out to support the women and children welcomed into the community. Depending on the volunteer's predispositions, support will be provided in the following areas: - support for women victims of violence; - entertainment activities for children and adolescents and support in artistic and creative workshops; - planning processes and active participation.Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accommodation is provided at the headquarters of the il Faro social cooperative. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are guaranteed by the organization at the times established by the community. The offices, community and laboratories are connected by public transport. All our offices are close to bus stops; the reception community for women with children is located near the central train station.Training during the activity
During volunteering activities, volunteers are invited to all the training provided for staff regarding educational, care, strengthening of resilience and empowerment factors. 20 hours of lessons in Italian will be guaranteed per month. Outside of the hours of activity in which the volunteer will be engaged, it is possible to attend all the artistic training courses provided free of charge.Participant profile
