Rural Development Project - Nature Academy!

Activity description

We offer you an interesting life changing experience, in a wild environment in rural area, on a farm where we develop an international activity centre with a lot of challenges that encourage participants to get entrepreneurial skills, independence, personal power offering a dynamic environment, a complex of activities where everyone can find their place and contribute. The tasks are mainly in organising non-formal educational events, building a sustainable community, developing a social place, make promotion and dissemniation af the activities and creating artisitc products. This opportunity is also available for shorter period of time, between 2 months and 1 year. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

4 volunteers will share a new renovated house with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room, located on a farm in rural area in Comuna Lazareni, Bicacel village, Bihor County, Transylvania. The house has all the utilities and is located on a hill with beautiful view, near a forest, and 2 members of the organisation live near. The volunteers will live in the international activity centre. Each volunteer will receive 150 euro/month for food and pocket money 3 euro/day. The activities will be mainly in the centre so is reacheble on foot.

Training during the activity

Besides the trainings giving by the National Agency, volunteers will have a period of accommodation with the organization, the project, the environment and the organisation`s staff. Will help volunteers integrate in the activity step by step and also offering teambuilding for volunteers to know each other. Romanian language classes will be provide and also cultural and tradition knowledges. Participant profile

We are looking for artists volunteers for our cultural intervention in the rural community. Recruitment process: 1. Video Theme and letter of recommendation from the last job or last Volunteer project (Signed and stamped by the respective unit). The video should be in English, approximately 2 minutes long, in which you introduce yourself and share your activities (from your job or the projects you work on), along with any outdoor or nature-related activities send on voluntari.gtci@gmail.com 2.
