Want to make a difference for young people in Hungary? Here’s how you can help at Együttható Association and Támaszpont Foundation: Take on supportive office tasks like organising events, helping with the Eurodesk Time To Move campaign, and managing communications for youth programs of our organisations. If you’re tech-savvy, try creating and updating our website and/or designing social media campaigns.Plan and run weekly local events like clubs, intercultural days, and clothing drives for the local community. You can also join the 'Almost Saturday' program at Együttható, where you’ll assist young people with mobility disabilities at our office (more about PA here: https://gmcdp.com/what-personal-assistance).If you want to know more, here is the detailed info pack of the project where you find an online application form: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Hbq_oyFMgeRcMQOqsSIra-X5ofmoFiax/view?usp=sharing If you wish to submit an application, it is also mandatory to apply on the link.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
It is a 7-month project that starts on June 1st and ends on December 31st. As the application period is short, you must be determined to apply on time and cooperative during the arrangement period. Accommodation You’ll be sharing a fully furnished flat in Budapest with two other volunteers. The program covers your rent and utilities, including internet, and you'll have your own room. Food and Pocket Money Every month, you'll receive food and pocket money in cash by the 10th, which should cover your basic expenses for the month. More info in the infopack.
Training during the activity
One training will be provided by us, along with regular individual mentoring and group mentorship, to help with self-knowledge and to ensure learning of new competencies. There will be an after-arrival training and a mid-term training provided by NA. More info in the infopack.
Participant profile
If you're interested in volunteering with us, please take a look at our information pack and fill out the application form which is in there. We appreciate volunteers who communicate their needs, bring their own hobbies and interests to share, and are proactive in seeking out work if there's not enough to do. We offer weekday opportunities that typically last for 7 hours, though this can vary. Sometimes, you may need to take the initiative to find tasks and determine where you can help, even if specific assignments are not given to you.
