Description
The volunteer will be engaged in 2 services of the Municipality of Vicenza for youth information and youth participation, together forming “Progetto Giovani Vicenza”, supporting its activities and projects realisation and development. Mostly in summer time, the volunteer will also cooperate with one of the organisations that regularly works at Polo Giovani B55, particularly in the field of theater. Polo Giovani B55 is the place of youth participation, where young people can find a place where to meet, realise new initiatives and projects, learn, study or simply chill out. The Youth Information Centre of Vicenza works in the fields of youth information and youngsters involvement for the development of their active citizenship. It offers guidance about training and education, placement, mobility and volunteering activities, stimulating the participation of young people to social life. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accommodation: Twin room in a recently renovated ground floor flat. Food: the volunteer will monthly receive a food allowance together with the pocket money Transport: bicycle/bus
Training during the activity
OAT- On Arrival Training, MTE - Mid Term Evaluation organized by Italian NA. Training to support the participation to the activities (i.e. website management). Possible participation to Erasmus+ training courses organized by Studio Progetto. Meetings with the other volunteers working in the territory of Vicenza.
Participant profile
- age between 18-30 years old - interested in youth and cultural issues - willing to get involved in communicating with young people - team spirit - responsible, creative, curious - good competences in using computer, internet, social networks: communicative, graphic and promotional competences and abilities will be positively valued
