"Create Opportunities" in Spain

Volunteering project "Create Opportunities" is hosting 1 volunteer in Fundació Catalunya Voluntària, an organisation that is experienced working with different programs and projects involving local community to become more active. With this project you have a chance to learn and get the better understanding of active volunteering, conflict management and peace building. You will also learn how to create and maintain networks among different parties - NGOs, youth workers, experts, active youngsters. All of the activities carried out are through non-formal methods with support of the organisation's team members.

Alojamiento, manutención y transporte

Accommodation is provided in a shared flat. Volunteer is given monthly allowance for food and pocket money as well as gets public transport ticket. The travelling budget of 360€ for return tickets is used to cover international travelling cost to/from project.

Formación durante la actividad

General training: Volunteer will attend On-arrival and Mid-Term training in Spain, both organized by the Spanish National Agency. Local training inside the organisation is also provided according depending on tasks and support what volunteer needs. Online linguistic support: volunteer gets the access to online linguistic support system to learn Spanish. Organisation provides language courses to help volunteer to practice Spanish at work and in social contexts.

Perfil del participante

Volunteer with a good level of English language ability and interest and willingness to work in this field. This opportunity is ideal for anyone intending to increase their know-how in this field and project management.
