InCo has started to look for 2 future volunteers for a nursing home based in Trento. CIVICA managing several nursing home. The service starts in September 2017 for 1 year. As a volunteer s/he will help in a nursing home for elderlies (which can be “Angeli Custodi” or “Stella del Mattino”). The activities will always be discussed together with the staff of the houses of elderlies. Besides assisting the elderlies, s/he would carry out the following tasks, among others: • organizing table games with the guests (bingo, chess, cards, etc.); • organizing manual activities (painting, gardening, etc.); • organizing cultural activities (cinema, art exhibitions, going to the museum, discussions about different topics etc.); • learning activities: word games. Moreover, volunteers will have the opportunity to be involved in parallel activities together with other volunteers hosted in other receiving organizations coordinated by InCo.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
S/hewill get free accommodation for the whole duration of your voluntary service. S/he will share a private apartment with other EVS volunteer, in Gardolo. The apartment is situated at the last floor of the nursing home Stella del Mattino,but it is totally separated from the elderlies. It is composed of two separate bedrooms (it means that s/he will share the room with an other volunteer), a fully equipped kitchen and one bathroom. Volunteers will receive food allowance for each month, paid by InCo. So they will be able able to cook/prepare their breakfasts, lunch and dinners in the flat. lun
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
During this EVS project the volunteers will partecipate at two training manage by National Agency: - On Arrival Training, some weeks after the start of the project - Mid Term Evaluation , in the middle of the project Every month InCo will send a monitoring questionnaire to supervise the volunteers and to resolve every insorgents conflict or trouble and every two months there will be a meeting.
Profil udeleženca
Candidates should: -Be motivated and interested about the project issues; -Possibly have previously experienced voluntary activities (better with elderly people); -Be flexible and interested in learning Italian as a foreign language.
