The activities will take place in the Blagoevgrad region and the methodology will be based on non-formal education. During the project, volunteers will be introduced to the theme of hate speech, discuss various non-violent methods to combat it, discuss the role of the media, find out more about human rights, work in separate teams for responsible for: media outreach, Designing promotional materials, organizing workshops and meetings in schools to introduce local youth with the problem, and encourage them to join as activists to combat hate speech. Various methods will be used, such as simulations, discussions, small groups, role-plays, and more. The project aims are: - helping young people to better understand hate speech, to realize the implications for society and to be able to distinguish it from freedom of speech - Providing youth with ways and channels for reporting hate speech online - promoting media literacy and safe and tolerant use of the Internet and knowledge
TranslateAccommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accomodation: The volunteers will be accommodated for free with full utility bills paid in fully furnished apartment in double room with another person from the same gender. There will be free wifi connection for the whole duration of the service. Food and pocket money:Volunteers will receive 100 euros for food and 90 euro for pocket money per month Transportation: Participants’ travel costs from their home city to Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria will be reimbursed on actual expenses of the participants and also according to bands in http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/resources_en#tab-1-4

On arrival / Mid term and evaluation training will be organized by the receiving organization

- All participants must be over 18 years old - All participants must be currently residing in the country they will represent and be able to prove it if needed with documents - Open minded , willing to volunteer and motivated to be part of our team
