Hoy os traemos una vacante para voluntarios europeos en nuestro país vecino Portugal que seguro a muchos os puede interesar. Una organización portuguesa busca un voluntari@ para participar en un proyecto de educación con niños. ¡No lo dudes y lánzate a vivir esta aventura para 2016! -The volunteer develops, according to his/her competencies/skills and knowledge, activities that fall within the existing departments of the association. He/she will also receive adequate language training. Thus the volunteer will be involved in supporting the Community School (with different locations throughout the region), providing support to the monitors and developing under their guidance the daily activities with children and young people (the time of study, arts, body language, science, computer, free time). The activities are developed in educational and cultural community spaces where we provide children and young people with various recreational and educational activities

The volunteer will work 33 hours per week and will have a free weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Eventually, some activities may be developed during the weekends, however, if this happens, it will be compensated with other two consecutive days during the week, agreed on mutually between the volunteer and the association. The volunteers will also be entitled to two days off per month, which will be taken according to their own interests and needs. – The AJD provides meals for the volunteer. – The host/coordinating organisation will also provide monthly subsidy (pocket money).

Utbildning under projektet

Upon arrival, the host/coordinating organisation will ensure that volunteers attend and arrival training and later a mid- term review session. During the performance of his/her tasks, the volunteer will receive support, guidance and supervision by the monitor / supervisor who is responsible for each activity. The host/coordinating organisation will ensure that volunteers have a free language training throughout the whole service. – For personal support, the volunteers will have a mentor they meet weekly throughout the service period. Volontärens profil

Volunteer: he/she must demonstrate his/hers will to learn a new language, be open to experience a new culture, to contribute to support the people in a rural area. Moreover, the volunteer should feel the need to prove his/her personal strengths, weaknesses and limits, to discover a new environment, and a strong desire to make new friends. Showing interest in foreign cultures and having this experience at this stage in his/her life will help to make decisions for the future, both in terms of employment and education/training. The age must be between 18 and 30 years.

For the selection of the volunteers we will need:

– Europass CV with picture (made in the last month) with skype name included

– Motivational letter, writing that your sending organisation will be “Building Bridges”. We ask all candidates to send a specific letter of motivation – why they want to volunteer with us rather than just a general EVS one. The volunteer is chosen according to his/her motivation and interest to the project and to the activities. It will be paid special attention to cover letters. Översätt
