Slovenian Falcon Youth Union (SFYU) is a voluntary, non-profit, non-governmental youth and children organization. Our goal is to ensure that young people and children are well informed and familiar with their rights, are empowered to actively participate in the society and are given the respect they deserve. In order to reach this goal, we use non-formal learning practices with children and young people.
With our activities we aim for social change, which is a result of critical questioning of the existing capitalistic system. With this in mind, we have opened up a space for all young people and children, who are subjected to social, financial, mental or other forms of systematic oppression that are a product of social stratification. We are standing up for an inclusive democratic society and for socially responsible individuals. We strive towards a more just world that offers equal chances for all.
