At the Ecole Maternelle, teaching is mainly in French. The German-French Ecole Maternelle Georges Cuvier has been an independent school in Stuttgart-Riedenberg since 2008.
Our school offers a bilingual education, conducted by French and German teachers, according to the state curriculum of "Education Nationale."
The preschool consists of four classes: two classes with 3- and 4-year-old children, one class with 4- and 5-year-old children and one class with 5-year-old children.

The French-German Ecole maternelle is part of the AEFE (Agence pour l'Enseignement Français à l'Etranger - Agency for French Education Abroad) school network, which is a government agency under the supervision of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development. The preschool has a contract with AEFE and is run by a parents' council.

The Ecole maternelle is the first level of the French school system. It gives every child the opportunity to complete his or her schooling in a French school of the AEFE.
