• WHAT AWAITS YOU?

🇷🇸 We have planned an immersive experience, starting with a cultural journey through Belgrade’s Museum of Nikola Tesla. Experience firsthand the incredible inventions and legacy of this visionary inventor! 🇷🇸

In a special twist, Serbia, North Macedonia, Türkiye, and Bulgaria will be holding connected meet-ups, with a joint activity that highlights stunning natural landscapes, historical monuments, and cultural landmarks. Whether in Belgrade, Skopje, Sofia/Plovdiv or Istanbul, you will dive into the heart of these countries’ most iconic sights, from breathtaking mountain hikes to ancient ruins and beautiful historical landmarks. Along the way, you will explore the histories of some of the region’s most influential and fascinating figures, learning about their impact on culture and history. At the same time, you will have the chance to connect with fellow travellers from across Europe, sharing experiences and making lasting memories together. This is your chance to discover new cultures and experience the Balkans like never before! 🌍⛰️🏛️

🌊 And since discovering the rich heritage of the Balkans is most enjoyable with a blend of fun and learning, we have planned some exciting outdoor activities at Ada Lake in Belgrade! Get ready for a relaxing day by the water, and don’t forget to bring your swimsuit! 🌊

🎶 To really soak in the local vibes, we will take you to Belgrade’s famous bohemian quarter. Enjoy authentic Serbian dishes while listening to traditional music that will make you feel at home in this vibrant neighbourhood. 🎶

This meet-up will follow the EXIT Festival in Novi Sad, where many DiscoverEU travellers will have already gathered for one of Europe’s premier music festivals. A great chance to extend your journey and make unforgettable memories!

Note: As infrastructure work is ongoing, international train services to/from Serbia are temporarily unavailable. However, bus travel from nearby countries (Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia) is covered to ensure a smooth trip.

  🚨 When applying for this amazing meet-up, travellers with a DiscoverEU pass for 2024 and 2025 will have a small advantage! Plus, we will give priority to those who have not had the chance yet to travel with DiscoverEU, so this could be a perfect opportunity for you! 

  ⏰ Timing matters! If you are travelling as part of a group, apply around the same time to increase your chances of being selected together! 🙌
