DiscoverEU Meet-up, Bled, Slovenia

Here is what it will happen!
Join this three-day MeetUp in the heart of Slovenian Alps create new friendships and discover something new about Slovenia.

You will discover more about culinary and cultural heritage and we will show you the jewels of Slovenian nature.

We will share more information and detailed programme with the first 20 people who register. Hurry up and enjoy this MeetUp!

Participation's eligibility
MeetUps are organized mainly for DiscoverEU participants travelling in Slovenia during the MeetUp's dates.
DiscoverEU ambassadors living in Slovenia will also participate as the host team. DiscoverEU candidates in waiting list may also apply for participation, but priority for participation is granted to participants who won the PASS and are using it to travel in Slovenia.

Participation's regulations
Accommodation, food, local transportations (and equipment where needed) during the MeetUp's days will be covered for all confirmed participants.
Travels to MeetUp's arrival and departure location (Bled) will be entirely borne to the participants.
Participants will be also responsible for any personal insurance coverages [e.g., travel coverage, third party liability coverage, medical payments coverage (for the part not covered by the European Health Insurance Card), personal injury protection, etc.] while traveling to/from and during the MeetUp's days.

Number of available places
This MeetUp is open up to 20 participants.
Participation will be granted on the first come, first served basis, until places last.

Day 1 – 20. 9. 2023

12.00 – 14.30 – Gathering, presentation of Meet-up and getting to know eachother

14.30 – 16.00 – lunch

16.00 – 17.30 – touristic boat “pletna” to island

17.30 – 19.00 – Bled castle and famous local pasrty “kremšnita”

19.30 – 21.00 – dinner 

21.00 – 23.00 – free time

Day 2 – 21. 9. 2023

7.00 – 9.30 – breakfast

Morning – cooking workshops

13.00 – 15.00 – lunch

Afternoon – visit of the beehives or hiking

19.30 – 21.00 dinner

21.00 – 23.00 free time

Day 3 – 21. 9. 2023

7.00 – 9.30 breakfast

9.30 – 13.00 trip to Bohinj (waterfall Savica, swimming in the lake, funicular to Vogel)

13.00 – 15.00 lunch on Vogel and evaluation

Registrations will close on September 11th, 2023 or before if participation's requests will exceed the maximum number allowed for participants.
