Have you ever imagined what it would be like to wake up by the Mediterranean with the sea breeze on your face? What would it be like to meet new people on an unforgettable weekend?

Join us in Valencia and Alaquàs for a 3-day DiscoverEU meeting where you’ll explore the local heritage, learn our shared European values and have lots of fun in an unforgettable weekend under the same orange-scented breeze.

From a guided tour of Valencia's historic centre to a traditional paella-making session in Alaquàs, enjoy beach sports activity and local festivities, as well as a reflection session on youth mobility in Europe. This Meet-up is designed to help you grow, meet locals and make new friends. You’ll take something meaningful home with you!

Now’s your chance! This September, DiscoverEU invites you to an experience that goes beyond sightseeing: it’s a chance to discover your own voice as a young European citizen and build real friendships.

Day 1 | Cultural & institutional immersion

• From 14:00 to 16:00: Arrival + superwelcome! + ice-breaking activities
• 17:00: Institutional meeting: a brief guide to European/local governance
• 18:00: Guided visit to Valencia's historic city center: in-depth look at local heritage
• 20:30: Dinner in Valencia’s historic center

Day 2 | Connection, empowerment and community

• 7:00: Breakfast at the hotel
• 9:00: Beach sports activity: wellbeing and cohesion. Soccer, volleyball, big SUP, gymkhana…
• 13:00: Alaquàs: local heritage and… hands-on paella workshop
• 17:00: Youth empowerment talk: reflection and learning. Team-building: developing social skills. Evaluation.
• 19:00: Local festivities in Alaquàs: cultural integration

Day 3 | Closing

• 9:00: Joint breakfast together and… farewell!! ¡Hasta la vista! :)

FOOD, ACCOMMODATION & ACTIVITIES ARE COVERED BY THE ORGANIZATION

There are 35 places available. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis!! Participants will receive a confirmation email.

*DISCOVEREU TRAVEL PASS: You must have the DiscoverEU Travelpass in order to register. This will be verified during the registration process.

** Participant selection will take into account previous attendance at Meet-Up editions held in other countries, with priority given to those who have not participated before.
