Will you be in Iceland this summer?
If you are one of the young people planning on being in Iceland this summer, you can join for a summer activity and BBQ on August 14!
The Icelandic National Agency for Erasmus+ is happy to invite DiscoverEU participants to an Icelandic summer activity on August 14. We will meet at the youth hostel in Laugardalur valley (in Reykjavík) where you will get a short introduction on Icelandic history and culture, then we will visit the largest outdoors pool in Reykjavík (bring your bathing suit and towel!) and (weather permitting) play a game of kubb. After the pool we head back to the hostel and end with a little BBQ.*
The swimming pool has naturally hot geothermal water with a number of different hot tubs, swimming pool, play pool, slide, steam room. Changing rooms are gender separated and gender neutral facilities can be requested. The pool has wheelchair accessibility and wheelchair accessible changing rooms.
The National Agency can offer up to 6 participants to stay in a 6 bedded mixed dormitory at the hostel (with shared facilities) on the night of August 14.
