Be part of the new Interactive Open Online Course in Arabic

“Technology and Society” invites youth from the Southern Mediterranean and Europe to explore the role that technology plays in our everyday lives and our societies. Participants will learn from, and with their peers, in an interactive, intercultural, online environment and will reflect on the societal changes that come with technological developments.

The 6-week course, scheduled to start on 4 November 2019, is open to anyone between the age of 18-30, resident in one of the Erasmus+ programme countries or the Southern Mediterranean. As the language of this course is Arabic, we specifically target an Arabic speaking audience.

Participants will be stimulated by audiovisual materials such as, bite sized video lectures and written materials from expert academics and practitioners. They will meet for two-hours in small groups on a weekly basis in their online group sessions. These sessions will take place on a safe, customised Virtual Exchange platform and will be led by trained dialogue facilitators. Here, participants will exchange ideas and share perspectives on topics like; identity in the digital era, social media and society or digital media activism. Read more about the syllabus, learning outcomes and assessment method in the Course Outline.
