Global Gateway High-Level Youth Event: "Engage, Empower, Connect"

The European Commission is organising a Global Gateway High-Level Youth Event: “Engage, Empower, Connect” on 10 October 2024, in Brussels, hosted by EU Commissioner for International Partnerships Jutta Urpilainen.

Putting youth at the center has been a priority under the mandate of Commissioner Urpilainen. Through the Youth Action Plan (YAP) in EU external action for 2022-2027, the EU has been championing youth empowerment and participation, and building solid foundations for a strategic partnership with young people around the world.

The Global Gateway High-Level Youth Event will be an opportunity to showcase the transformational impact of youth empowerment and participation, to celebrate new partnerships, to reflect on joint achievements, connect networks, and inspire further action.
