Youth Policy Dialogue with Commissioner Dubravka Šuica

Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Šuica will host her first annual Youth Policy Dialogue on the topic of Demography on 7 March 2025 in Zagreb.
The Dialogue will focus on three key areas where young people are facing more challenges today compared to previous generations:
- the Right to stay in one’s hometown and still have opportunities.
- Employment, income and wealth with an increased risk of poverty among young people due to high levels of unemployment and a widening wealth gap.
- Housing, which is becoming increasingly expensive, especially for young people from low- and middle-income families.
Up to 30 young participants have been invited to join the Dialogue in Zagreb. They are Croatian and international students, including from the Mediterranean partners of the EU.
