Youth Policy Dialogue with Commissioners Andrius Kubilius and Glenn Micallef

Andrius Kubilius, Commissioner for Defence and Space, and Glenn Micallef, Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport, will hold a common Youth Policy Dialogue at the Berlaymont in Brussels on 4 March 2025.

With the title “Young Voices in European Defence: Fostering Dialogue and Understanding”, the discussion will explore the role of young people in shaping Europe's peace and security landscape, and the importance of cooperation in addressing emerging challenges. 

The key topics will be:

• The EU as a peace project: Youth Perceptions of Geopolitical Threats
• EU Defence Preparedness
• EU's Added Value 

This will be an opportunity for youth representatives aged 18-30 to engage with Commissioners on issues concerning security, defence, and the role of youth in promoting peace and stability.
