The European Commission invites you to participate in a public consultation on the Digital Fairness Act.
This consultation is open until 24 October 2025 (midnight, Brussels time). In the framework of the youth check process. the Commission invites young people and youth civil society organisations to provide feedback.
The Digital Fairness Act aims at addressing gaps in consumer protection online. It will tackle matters such as addictive designs, video games, dark patterns, influencers marketing and targeted advertising in particular when exploiting consumers’ vulnerabilities. One major objective of the Digital Fairness Act is to promote a safe and fair online environment with a particular focus on children and young people.
