If this cute pigeon can’t help you vote in June, nothing will!

Palumba is a pan-european app developed by a non-profit youth organisation that matches young voters’ interests with a potential political representation. Are you a first time voter? This app can help you exercising your right to vote.

The Palumba app is crafted to break the so-called EU bubble. The complex political jargon is translated into an easy-to-understand format through a fun, user-friendly interface inspired by the viral features of dating apps. Several media outlets are calling the app the ‘’Tinder of politics’’. Therefore, it aims to make decision-making and topics accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or prior political knowledge.

Palumba uses a swiping mechanism, allowing users to swipe right (when they agree) or left (when they do not agree) on political statements. This results in users being matched with a European Parliament Group and getting tailored guidance on national candidate lists aligned with their priorities. Moreover, Palumba provides educational resources, including a political compass and explanations of policies, to help you make informed decisions. It also offers full privacy, it's transparent and politically neutral as well as translated in more than 30 languages (including regional dialects).

The app was created by Palumba EU, a non-profit youth organisation based in Barcelona (Spain) and with volunteers across Europe, under the supervision of European institutions and civic engagement stakeholders.
