Preparedness and resilience are emerging as key priorities across EU policies. Youth programmes, and in particular the European Solidarity Corps, can play a meaningful role in strengthening preparedness at community level.
SALTO European Solidarity Corps Resource Centre, in cooperation with DG EAC, DG ECHO, EACEA and the Strategic National Agency Cooperation on Volunteering, invites you to a 2-part webinar series: Youth Volunteering & Preparedness - Building bridges between European Solidarity Corps and Civil Protection.
Webinar 1: The contribution of youth volunteering to resilience and the European Preparedness Strategy.
Date: 22nd of January from 14.30 – 16.00 CET
Main aim of the 1st Webinar is to create a shared understanding of the preparedness priority and its relevance for youth programmes, and to explore how youth volunteering and civil protection actors can mutually support each other.
Webinar 2: Youth Volunteering and Civil Protection: Practices & opportunities within the European Solidarity Corps.
Date: 19 of February from 14.30 – 16.00 CET
Main aim of the 2nd Webinar is to support organisations in translating ideas into eligible, high-quality European Solidarity Corps projects, with a focus on technical procedures and cooperation models.
