On Friday 27 October, it’s time to reflect on the EU and the world’s progress towards the goals of the Paris Agreement. Go ahead and register to voice your opinions in the European Climate Stocktake!

In 2015, 196 countries adopted the Paris Agreement : the world’s first ever legally binding treaty on climate change. The main goal – to limit global warming to 1.5°C/ 2°C above pre-industrial levels.

But now 8 years have passed. How well are we progressing towards the Paris Agreement goals?

To take stock the progress, the European Climate Stocktake is inviting young people to an open discussion with high-level policymakers from the European Union and across the world, as well as speakers representing a range of stakeholders including international organizations, business, NGOs, academia, youth...

The event will take place in-person in Brussels and will also be livestreamed online.

REGISTER for the European Climate Stocktake until Sunday 15 October 2023, 23:59 (CEST).
