Watch the European Youth Hearing online and listen to youngsters discussing pressing topics with Members of the European Parliament on Tuesday 7 November at 13:30-15:00 CEST.
The European Youth Hearing is a key moment for young people to personally present and discuss with Members of the European Parliament the most popular ideas collected during the European Youth Event (EYE), the last one held on June 2023 in Strasbourg. Their aim is to shape the future of the EU.
You can expect the following 10 ideas to be discussed:
- Add disinformation warnings as a default on all news sites - unless they share all their sources of information
- Support for innovative projects in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Don't rule out any country from Erasmus+
- Teach more about the EU in schools
- Introduce sustainability education in schools
- Climate change is wreaking havoc on our health – make it a priority to change that
- Stop food waste in the EU, helping the most vulnerable
- All traineeships should be paid or funded
- Europe should be self-sufficient with raw materials
- Stronger together: Establish a common foreign policy
On Tuesday 7 November at 13:30-15:00 CEST, tune in to the official broadcast of European Youth Hearing online.
The session will be conducted in English with interpretation available in French, German, Italian, Polish and Spanish (International Sign Language to be confirmed). No prior registration needed!
