Take part in the EYE 2021!
Last updated on Wednesday, 26/05/2021
In October 2021, the European Youth Event will take place in Strasbourg, bringing together youth to shape and share their ideas on the future of Europe.
Youth participation is at the heart of the EYE21 and so the European Parliament has launched a call for activity proposals to boost participation and active engagement.
On top of that, it also offers financial aid to groups coming to the event to participate. The aim is to support young people from all over Europe, particularly those coming from disadvantaged backgrounds, to cover accommodation and travel costs to the event.
- Call for financial contribution: Groups will receive a financial contribution to their travel and accommodation costs. Groups are selected on the basis of their engagement and the unique perspective they bring to the event. Main requirements for the group to be eligible is to be composed of 10 to 20 members between 16 and 30 years old and having their legal residence in the European Union, a candidate country, or the UK.
- Call for activity proposals: The proposals should be original, interactive, and encourage active participation from the audience. All selected proposals will be published in the official EYE2021 programme and be free to attend for all participants coming from all over Europe and beyond. Organisers must be between 16 and 30 and must be residents of the European Union, a candidate country, or the UK.
The activity (in English, French or German) must be original, interactive and allow the possibilities for the audience to interact; involvement of MEPs and previous experience are considered a plus.
The best proposals may receive a financial contribution to their travel and accommodation costs from the European Parliament.
The deadline to apply for any of the calls is June, 2nd at 23:59 (CET)
