Last updated on Thursday, 11/09/2025
The European Citizens’ Panel on Intergenerational Fairness is kicking off and you can follow their first plenary meeting online on 12 September.
In this plenary meeting 150 randomly selected citizens (one third of them young people) from all 27 Member States will meet over three weekends to explore ways to bridge generational divides, balance the needs of different age groups, and think long-term for a fairer society. Their recommendations will feed directly into the upcoming Strategy on Intergenerational Fairness, an initiative, which is going through the Commission Youth Check process.
When? 12 September 2025, 14:30-16:45 (CEST)
The plenary meeting will be webstreaming in all EU languages. Watch it online!
