"Young Voices for Europe" - Participate in a Youth Policy Dialogue with Commissioner Micallef

The EU is shaping its next Youth Strategy and we want you in the room.
We are looking for 30 young people to join Commissioner Glenn Micallef (Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport) in Lyon to help shape the next EU Youth Strategy.
We'll be discussing
- How to make youth participation more inclusive for everyone, regardless of background
- The biggest challenges young people face today
- How the EU can actually meet your needs
No prior experience in policy needed.
Participants will also have the opportunity to discover the city of Lyon through organised side activities.
How to apply
Please complete this application form on EUSurvey including:
- Your full name, nationality, occupation, and contact details.
- Some general questions on the participation of young people in policy making.
- A brief response to the relevant question (maximum 200 words) and the topic of your preference from the ones that will be discussed.
The selected participants will be invited to attend at least one online preparatory meeting before the Dialogue.
Who can participate
- Young people aged 18-30
- Currently residing in geographical Europe.
- With a good command of English.
- Available to attend the in-person event in Lyon from 15 to 17 July 2026.
- That have not previously participated in a Youth Policy Dialogue.

🛏️ Accommodation for the nights of 15 and 16 July 2026 in Lyon.
