Youth Climate LAB: Empowering youth for a sustainable future

Are you ready to shape the future of climate education? Join the third edition of the Youth Climate LAB – an immersive, peer-led experience where young changemakers will explore how Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) can transform learning communities across Europe.
What is the Youth Climate LAB?
The Youth Climate LAB is a vibrant initiative of the Education for Climate Coalition, designed to empower young citizens aged 16-26 to co-create climate solutions through collaborative learning. This year’s theme focuses on integrating TEK – wisdom rooted in centuries of sustainable practices – into modern educational settings.
What’s in store?
From 15 to 20 September 2025, participants will:
- Engage in five interactive sessions with experts and peers.
- Co-design a learning scenario and five actionable recommendations.
- Receive a certificate of completion for active participation.
- Two standout participants will present the outcomes at Education for Climate Day in Brussels on 23 October 2025.

Who can join?
If you:
- Are aged 16–26 and passionate about climate and education,
- Reside in a country of the European Education Area,
- Have a working knowledge of English,
