Description
Giving back to the world - TERK Centre is an experienced organization that aims to make a societal positive impact on the lives of disabled people by being a good example and creating a great living atmosphere! TERK has separate branches for adult and children services who are living with severe mental and multiple disabilities. Volunteer will be assisting teachers during various activities and workshops done together with the clients. Volunteer has the opportunity to offer her/his own activities for the clients.
Volunteering duration: starting date January 2027 - duration 7 months or 12 months.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will stay at the university dorm or shared apartment with other volunteers. There is also possibility to change the accommodation if the dorm solution is not suitable for some reason. Volunteers will receive monthly food and pocket money. All work related transport will be covered by the programme.
Training during the activity
Volunteers will receive work related trainings if it is necessary. All special techniques used with the target group will also be taught to the volunteers if they are interested in learning. Erasmus+ and ESC Agency in Estonia will organize on-arrival and mid-term trainings for volunteers.
Participant profile
Ideal volunteer has sense of empathy, is calm, has patience, and with good routine tolerance. Basic English is required.
