Description
Place of the volunteering is a public kindergarden located in a green, beautiful destrict of Warsaw – Sadyba. There are currently about 100 children in the kindergarden. Fully equipped building and a green outdoor area with various play equipment, provides children with a wonderful experience and opportunity to play. The volunteer’s activities will be divided into two groups: activities supporting the kindergarten staff, e.g.during art, music or physical activities with children, during meals, playing with children in the open air, supporting the staff during trips, organization of special events and participation in the life of the local community The volunteers will be also encouraged to implement their own projects, e.g. teaching children their mother tongue and / or English , organization of events for children promoting the culture and traditions of their country; other activities related to the specific interests or skills of the volunteer.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
2 volunteers share a 2 room flat. Volunteers are provided with money for food and local transport. Volunteers receive also a pocket money.
Training during the activity
Volunteers are provided with a Polish language course which fits their needs and level. Volunteers also take part in internal trainings organized by foundation Innovation Institute and also attend two seminars organized by the National Agency.
