Description
The 6 local Roma communities will benefit directly from the solidarity activities. The volunteers will carry out the following activities in Roma communities: media campaigns on awareness of fundamental rights and participation in the democratic life of the local community, media capmpaign about un stil de viata sanatos si echilibrat,fundraising campaigns for the purchase of backpacks and school supplies needed by students when they enrol in school, organization of the "after school" program, where students will be helped with their homework and learn new things through non-formal education (modern language courses, handicrafts, astronomy, nature orientation, sports, music, dance, board games, homework), organization of non-formal education workshops for students enrolled in the "second chance" program; organisation of summer kindergarten for children who have never been to kindergarten, organisation of entrepreneurial education workshops including information on social entre.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accomodation in shared apartaments. Food and volunteer allowance is provided. Local transport and formation is provided.
Training during the activity
On arrival trainining course. Mid Term Evaluation meeting Non-formal methods training course.
Participant profile
Young people between 18-30 years old. Interested to promote social entreeprenurship
