Viešoji įstaiga "Socialinis veiksmas"

Vilniaus Arkivyskupijos Caritas

VILNIUS, Lithuania

Description

Welcome to the Vilnius Archdiocese Caritas Foreigners Integration Center, where we are dedicated to helping refugees, asylum seekers, and other foreigners thrive in their new lives in Lithuania. With two centres in Vilnius and the small town of Pabradė nearby, we offer a comprehensive range of services designed to empower and support individuals on their journey. Our warm and inviting spaces provide social, psychological, and legal counselling, as well as opportunities for leisure, language development, and skill-building. At our centres, we prioritize creating a sense of safety, belonging, and community for migrants, so they can truly flourish. We need your help in organizing cultural events, workshops and leisure time for adults, assistance in children's activities, and helping to create inclusive communication on social media. Our passionate volunteers play a key role in fostering a friendly environment. P.S. As a volunteer, you will commute between Vilnius and Pabradė.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

As a volunteer in Vilnius, you will have the opportunity to be hosted in a comfortable flat alongside other like-minded volunteers who share your passion for community service. You will have your own private room, providing a space for rest and relaxation. You will also get: - a monthly bus card; - a monthly stipend for food and pocket money; - a team of dedicated professionals, including a mentor for personal support, a project coordinator to help you get the most out of your experience, and a tutor from the hosting organization to guide you every step of the way.

Training during the activity

Maximize your potential and make the most of your volunteer experience with our comprehensive support system! As a volunteer, you will receive On-Arrival and Mid-Term trainings organized by the National Agency, as well as regular meetings with our dedicated Coordinating Organization. We understand that reflection is key to personal growth, which is why hosting organisation offers regular reflection sessions. These sessions provide a safe and supportive environment to share your experiences, learn from one another, and grow both personally and professionally.
