Description
The volunteer at the CIJ, Centre Information Jeunesse, supports the team in activities related to European topics, international mobility and youth engagement. Tasks may include managing social media (Instagram, Canva, video creation), helping organise events about the EU and mobility opportunities, leading informal activities such as language cafés, and sharing their experience of international mobility and European citizenship. The volunteer also helps welcome visitors and international students at the CIJ.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The association is located in the urban area of Cergy-Pontoise, more precisely in the city of Cergy, in the suburbs of Paris (approximately 45 minutes away from the capital city by train). Accommodation is provided near the CIJ. The volunteer receives food and pocket money allowances, as well as a travel card covering the Île-de-France region.

One arrival and mid-term training organized by the french national agency.
Participant profile
The volunteer should be sociable, spontaneous, open-minded, curious, and willing to take on new challenges. They should be motivated and eager to learn. An interest in Europe and international mobility is essential. The volunteer should feel comfortable in front of a camera to create content for social media, as well as speaking about their experience in front of groups. They should enjoy both teamwork and working independently. An interest in topics related to youth, youth information, and international mobility is important.
