Description
Info Jeunes Grand Est - Reims is a youth information center that informs young people about a variety of topics like their studies, accommodation, jobs... It also develops different activities about European and international mobility for young people (information about different kinds of mobilities and ESC). During his/her ESC experience, the volunteer will: - Support young people that want to be part of ESC projects in collaboration with the Responsible person of ESC (language support, assisting on finding host organization and learning to use the official site ESC…) and promote ESC experience on social networks - Participate and organize events to promote European mobility (events, information campaigns, workshops…) - Occasionally participate in EU and European citizenship activities (Escape Game, information sessions, debate...)
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteer will live in a shared apartment fully furnished and will have his/her own bedroom. The bathroom, kitchen and living room will be shared. The volunteer will receive money for food, local transport and pocket money.
Training during the activity
During the mission of the volunteer there will be 2 training Formations. The first one is called the 'Welcome Formation' which is held for 4-5 days in one city of France (not decided yet). And the second which is called 'The midterm Formation' which is 3-4 days in another city in the middle of the volunteering period.
Participant profile
The volunteer must be interested in youth information about international mobility projects. He/she should be interested in communication tools used by young people (social networks, video, photos,...). The volunteer should be interested in supporting other youngsters in their projects. The volunteer should also be interested in sharing EU values. Some basic level of French will be appreciated and will facilitate the integration of the volunteer (B1/B2).
