Description
You will be included in the daily work and activities of the Association. The work will be carried out mainly in the office or in the field (attending events in different parts of Slovenia or protests). Your tasks will primarily include: supporting the organisation of the Ljubljana Pride Festival 2025 and planning of events and Festival related activities; supporting the Member Engagement activities of the Association: promotion of content on stalls during public events; recruitment of new volunteers for the Association; creating and leading activities for young people (like quizzes, short fun surveys and other offline and online engagement activities); co-organising events and activities of the Association in the field, including the support of week-long international training courses or public events around the country and supporting the day-to-day office work. Be mindful that we might close the application earlier than advertised depending on the quality of the candidate.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The project includes: Fully funded travel and accommodation; Covered food expenses and pocket money; Mentoring and Youthpass certificate; Health insurance.
Training during the activity
You will be included in the daily work and activities of the association. You will be supported by a working coordinator and a personal mentor. During your activity, you will participate in an on-arrival and mid-term training organised by the national agency, where you will get to meet the other ESC volunteers in Slovenia.
Participant profile
LGBTIQ+ EU resident, between 18 and 30; Have a strong interest in LGBTIQ+ organisations, topics and activism; Responsible, sociable and proactive individuals; Well organised and structured; Comfortable with working in office environments and having an office routine; Fluent in English; Interested to co-create the Ljubljana Pride Festival, including the administration and logistics; Have previous volunteering or working experience in the field of LGBTIQ+ and/or organizing a festival or bigger events, including event management, networking, communication.
