Description

Lycée Coëtlogon, which has just over 1,000 students, has been involved in an international dynamic for many years (school exchanges, European Parliament, ambassadors' school, internships abroad, etc.). The school has created a "European space" which provides resources linked to Europe. The volunteer's role will be to : - revitalize the Espace Europe with regular activities, in conjunction with the Lycée youth center (quizzes on Europe, discussion sessions, shared meals, photo contests, etc.). - The European volunteer will act as a point of reference for the follow-up of actions linked to international affairs developed by an existing steering committee (helping students prepare for their departure, promoting international mobility and the culture of their country). → Participate to a collective project with other volunteers Depending on your motivation, you will also have the opportunity to develop apersonal project related to your own talents and interests

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will live in Rennes and have your own room in a flat shared by multiple volunteers. Travel expenses will be reimbursed on the basis defined by the European Commission. Pocket money will be provided, along with funds to cover the expenses of food and local transportation.

Training during the activity

You will take part in an on arrival training and mi-term evaluation organized by the French national agency.

Participant profile

We're looking for someone who is keen to communicate, exchange ideas, share and learn. A dynamic person who is not afraid to reach out to others. It seems essential that the volunteer has the desire to propose activities and feels capable of leading them. The teachers will of course be on hand to help him/her carry them out.
