The CEMEA Bourgogne-Franche-Comté is a hosting organization trained by ERASMUS+ in accepting and accompanying the youth on their international mobility project. this mission will be with working with our partner association :MJC Clairs-Soleils MJC Solidarity Unit: The aim of the Solidarity Unit is to help people in need, as long as these needs comply with our rules and our objective of neutrality and transparency: Administrative Family and solidarity DIY Transport/Delivery Femme actu'elles" group: We receive and we give: a place and a time just for you, the women, a place of reciprocity where exchanges take place on sewing, cooking, DIY, culture, reading, board games... over a coffee and informal discussions. Café Solidaire: The café was born of the desire to create a place where everyone could feel at home, a café run by volunteers who share the same values. A friendly place where people can meet and talk about culture, the environment and local social issues.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

2 types of accommodation :The CEMEA owns its own apartment where two of the volunteers to live together but have their own private room and share the common spaces. The other is the “Hortensias” an intergenerational apartment complex that welcomes both elderly people and students. The volunteer will have their own private apartment and living space. This space is provided at a reduced rate as the volunteer will have to spend some of their time doing activities with the elderly people. Both types are located five minutes by foot to CEMEA and three minutes walk to the surrounding bus stops.

Training during the activity

The volunteer will be able to take part in various training by the CEMEA and/or MJC Clairs-Soleils BAFA (Allows you to supervise children and young people) PSC1 (First Aid) Intercultural education FLE (French language training)

Participant profile

No diploma is required. Having computer competencies and knowledge is a plus. Work experience with different groups of people from various socioeconomic backgrounds is a bonus. The volunteer will have to explain in his/her motivation letter his/her wish to learn, to take initiative and to create projects with the various groups of people.
