Description
We are looking for enthusiastic young people to join our diverse team in Logos NGO Poland in vibrant and lively Poznań. In our environment, we are building a more inclusive society, responding to societal challenges and raising awareness of equality. The project will be an inspiring and empowering experience for young people who want to immerse themselves in the local community, help others, learn and develop their skills in many fields at once. You will raise and discuss important topics with people from different countries, take part and help with ‘Feed Your Head Festival’ preparations and get an opportunity to meet invited artists and new people. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Travel costs will be covered according to the distance calculation of the EU. Volunteers will get pocket and food money. Accommodation is provided in the students' dormitory and will have all the basic facilities. Insurance is covered by the European Solidarity Corps (Henner Insurance). We will provide some of the local transportation costs.
Training during the activity
Designing and organising workshops and events. Using non-formal education methods to raise importanat topics. Helping with 'Feed Your Head Festival' preparations, as promotion, decorating, providing workshops, managing schedules, and working on the festival area. We want to show you a world full of different forms of art that are free from addictive substances. Our mission is to raise your awareness of mental health and its connection with the creation process. During this project, you will learn how to organise events, raise creativity and have fun.
Participant profile
Young people aged 18 to 30 years old with high motivation and enthusiasm to work in an international environment and participate in Festival preparations. Interested in well-being, art, especially as a therapy and a way to discover yourself. Event organising experience and social media skills are welcome.
