You will help with arranging the funds that enable organising inspiring events, such as Erasmus+ youth exchanges. Your activities will include researching funding opportunities for events; co-write funding applications; communicating with the fund provider (e.g. European Union); writing required reports; and collaborating closely with event organisers. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will be provided accommodation in one of the community houses, sharing a room with one or more fellow volunteers. The rooms are equipped with the basic comforts such as a bed, sleeping bags, pillow, and light. If preferred, there is also the option to camp with a tent on the land in the warmer seasons. Food: a local team prepares the food for the community (lunch and dinner) according to the Sattvic diet. There is a self service policy for breakfast. Throughout the whole day there is a tea table with tea, coffee, and fruits. Rides will be provided if needed among the community.
Training during the activity
As a volunteer, you will be mentored, coached and trained in your role from the concerning coordinator, through direct guidance and through learning by doing. Daily tasks will require your communication skills in English. At last, the nourishing and at the same time challenging surroundings invite you to grow and expand as a person, along with a healthy lifestyle and wellbeing tools.
Participant profile
Someone who; is aligned with Ananda Kalyani’s values; wants to learn more about writing fund applications; enjoys writing and creating structure; has strong formal writing skills; enjoys handling reports and administrative tasks that come along with organising a funded event; knows how to effectively prioritise and plan a diversity of tasks; is autonomous (although you will certainly get guidance) and proactive; is solution-oriented and reliable; is open to spirituality and care about intentional and ecological ways of living; is ideally long term available.
