Description
Volunteering Teams is a solidarity activity that brings together a group of 6 participants from abroad and 5 local volunteers for 1 month. Activity will take place for approximately 30 hours per week. 11 volunteers will participate in InterMediaKT activities during the whole period with the following objectives: to learn, promote and disseminate opportunities for youth mobility and participation at European level. Actions deriving from these objectives will be aimed at reaching out to the youth population of Patras, offering spaces for dialogue where local and international participants can discuss about different topics: civic participation, migration and mobility, mental health, etc. Info pack: https://bit.ly/3X0C1n0
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
For volunteers coming from other countries, we will provide free accommodation with other volunteers and it will be fully furnished, with all the essentials. Travel costs to Patras from the volunteer’s home country and back are covered based on following limits. (https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/resources-and-tools/distance-calculator) - Food allowance (5E/per day) is provided - Pocket money (6E/per day) is provided
Participant profile
Are you between 18-30 years old? Do you like teamwork? Do you have enthusiasm to learn? Do you want to leave your comfort zone and live a unique experience? Do you have a good command of the English language (B1/B2 level)? We are looking for 5 people from Patras, Greece and 6 people from program and partner countries. We don’t require any special skills, but we wish that the volunteers are interested in or have some experience with the topics of intercultural communication, youth active participation, social innovation, mobility and migration, content dissemination.
