Description

Become a valuable part of CECAP JOVEN's and contribute to creating enjoyable leisure and free time experiences for young individuals with a intelectual disabilities. As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and leading various activities, trips, and sports events catering to different age groups. Engage in weekly planning meetings to ensure exciting and well-organized activities for our participants. In some cases, accompany young individuals on their journeys, assisting with public transportation and providing support. Facilitate sports activities, gym visits, and set up games in the sports plaza, promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. Take part in social events like café gatherings, bowling, or shopping, offering a chance to bond and create lasting memories with our participants. Join us in making a positive impact on the lives of young individuals, sharing meaningful experiences, and creating a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

During your volunteer experience, we prioritize your comfort and support. You'll have your own private room for peaceful rest and the chance to connect with another volunteer in shared common areas. Financial assistance includes 6 euros/day for personal expenses and 23 euros/day to cover all other necessities like accommodation, food, transportation and other things related to the period of the activities. Round-trip transportation is also provided.

Training during the activity

You can expect: Guidance: Receive full orientation and ongoing guidance to make each activity outstanding in your role. Weekly meetings: Weekly meetings to share your thoughts, concerns and ideas. Multidisciplinary team of experts: A multidisciplinary team of experts from various fields will provide you with tailored training support. Two-way knowledge exchange: You can bring your unique knowledge and experience to the table while learning from our team. Adequate resources: All the human and material resources you need to carry out your volunteer action effectively
