Would you like to be part of an inclusive, creative community? MIRA Intercultural community is looking for an ESC volunteer to its community space, Mira Ház, for a period of 12 months. The aim of the project is supporting and working with an intercultural community center in Budapest, aiding the integration of migrants and refugees. We believe that diversity is a value and we continuously try to learn from each other. || COMMUNITY SPACE / It is a home away from home for our members, it will be your task to take care of it and keep it welcoming. || COMMUNITY EVENTS / Assisting, organizing and participating in community events (intercultural evenings, creative workshops, sport days, children camp, etc.). || SOCIAL MEDIA / Managing the social media of the MIRA community program and taking care of other communication tasks. || CREATE YOUR OWN PROJECT / Bring creative ideas and organize events! Create your own non-formal education sessions for adults and children of different nationalities.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Your accommodation will be arranged and paid for. You will live in a separate room of a shared apartment with other volunteers. You will receive a monthly allowance and your travel costs to Budapest will be covered.

Training during the activity

You will have plenty of opportunities to practice your English, social media, community building and creative skills during your activities. You can choose to participate in Hungarian lessons held by one of our volunteers.
