Description

All information and organisational processes relating to the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 come together in the management department. In this area you will come into contact with many individual projects as well as national and international project partners. We need you for support in the field of general inquiries as well as guest management in our visitor and information center HARTMANNFABRIK. Furthermore, the preparation for the opening and travel management for international guests and other teams from European cities will be one of the key tasks.You will also assist in the reception area and welcome international guests during the cultural capital year.

Training during the activity

There is also a training programme as part of our volunteer programme. This is open to ESC participants. In addition to the extensive programme of the European Capital of Culture, first aid training, voice training, de-escalation training, awareness and teamwork are also offered. In addition, ESC participants will receive a clear introduction to their specific areas of responsibility and can expand their skills in co-operation with our colleagues and professional partners.

Participant profile

You should be curious about the management processes in a large cultural organisation and want to learn more about them. You are communicative (in English and later also in German). You are well-structured, polite and want to pass on your knowledge of the cultural capital to international guests and project partners. You would like to actively support large and small events in our headquarters.
