Description
The volunteer will participate in cooperation and humanitarian aid projects, support and monitor the gender perspective and approach in projects and actions, and generate inputs and participatory group methodologies with a gender focus. They will develop and/or review training and awareness materials. They will support the coordination of women's organizations and local networks. The volunteer will carry out field activities to strengthen women's leadership and the practice of human rights.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
You will have the opportunity to live in a family home with your own room, access to shared services, Wi-Fi, and a mobile communication card. The residence is close to the office, has convenient local transportation, and you will be able to interact with the communities where we develop our projects.
Training during the activity
You will learn about communication within a social organization in the field and receive specific training on feminist leadership and communication for transformation, among other topics.
Participant profile
Interest in learning about gender issues, feminism, or women's rights. Previous experience in NGOs or associations and basic knowledge of gender issues will be valued. Preferably, someone with experience in policies on sexual exploitation and abuse and/or in developing or delivering training courses. Must have at least an elementary level of Spanish.
