Description

The Inclusive Education Festival aims to promote inclusive practices in education, raise awareness about the importance of diversity and accessibility in learning, and celebrate the unique abilities and talents of every individual. As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in organizing and facilitating a diverse range of activities, workshops, and events during this two-month volunteering stage. As a volunteer, you will be an integral part of the festival's organizing team. Your responsibilities will include: • Collaborating with local educational institutions, NGOs, and community members to design and plan festival activities focused on inclusive education, accessibility, and empowerment. • Assisting in logistics, venue arrangements, and event coordination for workshops, presentations, and interactive sessions. • Engaging with individuals of diverse backgrounds, including students, teachers, parents, and people with disabilities, to ensure their active participation

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will share an apartment or a house (depending on the rent available facilities) with other volunteers, in Targu Jiu. However, in each scenario, you might need to share your room with another volunteer – same gender.

Training during the activity

Your volunteering stage will last for two months, providing you with ample time to actively contribute to the festival's planning, implementation, and post-event evaluation. Apart from your volunteering duties, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in Romanian culture through various cultural exchange activities, including language classes, traditional music, dance, and visits to local landmarks. We will provide you with pre-arrival information, safety guidelines, and local emergency contacts to ensure a secure and pleasant experience.
