Volunteers help to organise cultural events for the local community, but their main task is to run language workshops and prepare learning materials for people attending their classes (including video materials). Working hours are 8:00 a.m. - 2 p.m. Additionaly volunteers participate in the meetings and trainings provided by the foundation IB Polska insode the project. Those meetings are based on the main topics of the project as well as on the goals of ESC programme. In total we are going to host the group of around 20 volunteers from different countries in the project.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers stay in the flat rent by the foundation IB Polska, which is responsible for the whole project and it's budget. Flats are situated in different parts of the city of Krakow. Romms are single or double with common kitchen and bathroom. IB Polska provides also monthly tickets for the public transortation in the city. Volunteers get the reimbursement of the travel costs up to the amount based on the distance calculator. Every month volunteers get pocket money and food allowance, usually to their bank account.

Training during the activity

Volunteers are prepared to the project by the sending organsation from the country of origin. Also IB Polska provides preparation to the project after volunteers' arrival. The first day in the hosting organisation is based on the information about the rules, meeting co-workers and getting to know the place of work.
